Payment & Shipping
We accept the following payment methods:
When you place an order, we authorize your credit card to confirm it is valid and that sufficient funds are available for your purchase.
An authorization does NOT charge your card at that time, but some banks may hold the authorization for the purchase amount for up to 7-10 business days. It will appear on your statement as a "pending charge."
We do not charge your credit card until your item(s) have shipped.
Most of the products sold at monomo are handmade, and some may require more time to prepare for shipment. Also, some products are made to order, which increase the handling time before they can be shipped. Make sure to check the description of each product for details.
Shipment time may also be affected by the postal service within your country.
Additional taxes may be charged for international shipping and vary by country. The appropraite amount will be added to your final price at checkout.
The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of Japan may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and can't predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, and you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
EMS (Outside of Japan)
EMS is a fast international mail service used for easy and convenient shipments of up to 30 kg to over 120 countries and territories worldwide.
We consider the placement of your order as your confirmation and agreement to our shipping policy.
